Movement Made Fun!
At Bernhard Baron Care Home, we believe that staying active is about more than just exercise—it’s about maintaining independence, enjoying movement, and having fun! That’s why we’re delighted to work with Exercise for All, whose engaging sessions bring creativity and joy to physical activity.
More Than Just Repetitions
Exercise isn’t just about doing repetitions; it’s about using the body in different ways to support overall well-being. One key focus of the sessions is fine motor skills—small but essential movements that help Residents maintain their ability to perform everyday tasks. Whether it’s buttoning a shirt, handwriting, or even needlework, these Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are vital for maintaining independence as we age.
Interactive and Engaging Sessions
The exercise sessions at BBCH turn movement into an enjoyable experience. Residents take part in fun games and interactive activities designed to keep them moving while also encouraging social connection. Staying active should never feel like a chore, and with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of engagement, our Residents make the most of every session.
A huge thank you to Exercise for All for their dedication to keeping our Residents moving, engaged, and having fun!
