Exploring Hampden Park

We arranged a one-to-one outing with one of our Residents at Hampden Park. They had a lovely time watching the elegant swans and their adorable cygnets gliding across the pond. Such outings not only provide joy but also create lasting memories for our Residents.

One of the many benefits of being located in Polegate is our proximity to Hampden Park, East Sussex, a place rich in local history and community spirit.

Originally part of the Ratton Estate, Hampden Park was purchased by Lord Gage in 1901, becoming the first public park in Eastbourne. The park was named after Viscount Hampden and today serves as a beautiful green space for the community to enjoy, featuring a picturesque lake, woodland walks, and various sports facilities.

Additionally, Hampden Park boasts a lovely café where our Residents love to relax and enjoy a delicious snack or a refreshing drink amidst the natural beauty of the park. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a stroll or to catch up with friends.
