BBCH Celebrates Success at the Care Awards 2024

We’re delighted to share some wonderful news about the amazing achievements of our BBCH team!

Earlier this year, we announced that Trudi Knight, our Principal Care Manager of 35 years, and long-standing volunteers Tony and Janet Mottram had been named finalists in the prestigious Care Awards 2024. Trudi was nominated for the Care Leadership Award, and Tony and Janet for the Volunteers of the Year Award—a reflection of their dedication and passion for social care.

This week, we attended the Partners in Care - East Sussex and Brighton & Hove Annual Awards to celebrate these remarkable milestones. It was an evening filled with joy and inspiration as staff, trustees, and volunteers gathered to honour outstanding contributions to social care.

We’re thrilled to announce that Tony and Janet Mottram were awarded the title of Volunteers of the Year, a fitting recognition of their incredible 25 years of service. Additionally, Trudi Knight received a Highly Commended certificate for her exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to the Homes.

The celebrations continued back at BBCH, where Residents joined us in marking these achievements with a special presentation. Flowers were given to Tony, Janet, and Trudi as tokens of appreciation for their remarkable contributions.
