I have been working here for almost 2 years now and I have never been happier. Coming from a corporate background that was tense and formal, the minute you walk into the doors you feel the difference - The relaxed, family atmosphere.
The shift pattern is great, you have time for yourself instead of long 12hr shifts. You get the most delicious food on shift as well which is a great perk! Management is great, their door is always open and you can talk to them about anything and they will really try to help you.
The care team is amazing. When I first started I was so nervous but the team on shift with me reassured me and encouraged me and when I fell behind they picked up my slack without even having to ask. They are always there to ask if I struggle with anything and always ready to help.
Everything is explained to you fully during the interview process, during the tour of the home and during your induction and shadowing so you will know if BBCH is for you or not.
The care home is committed to providing exceptional care for our Residents and the staff here have the same dedication and positive attitude towards caregiving.
