We are a Residential Care Home, not providing nursing care, situated in Polegate, East Sussex, which provides accommodation for up to 63 men and women from the age of 65. Most residents join us from their mid-70's.
The Homes are situated in private grounds. We have 12 cottages, each containing two self-contained apartments, some suitable for couples, and a main building which has 34 bed -sitting rooms with en-suite facilities. The main building also includes a hall which is used as the dining room and for many other activities, a kitchen, and lounges. All facilities for residents are on the ground floor.
While we respect the privacy of residents, the Homes are not just a collection of rooms and cottages; the residents, staff members and volunteers have made the Homes what they are; a real community.
Because we are a charity we are able to offer care of a very high standard at a low cost. When the Homes were inspected in 2007
the Care Quality Commission rated us as "Excellent", and this rating was confirmed in our 2010 inspection.

In 2009 we were the South-East Regional winner of the Care Home of the Year award in the magazine Yours.
Our kitchens had an unannounced inspection by Environmental Health on 1st July 2010 and were awarded 5 stars (the maximum).
